I have the greatest difficulty not to step on them

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

I remembered a story of how Bach was approached by a young admirer one day and asked, “But Papa Bach, how do you manage to think of all these new tunes?”  ”My dear fellow,” Bach is said to have answered, according to my version, “I have no need to think of them.  I have the greatest difficulty not to step on them when I get out of bed in the morning and start moving around my room.”  ~Laurens Van der Post

I DO POSTERS

Friday, May 21st, 2010

I DO POSTERSFirst poster design I did for DJ Kemit. The job was to come up with a piece of art that symbolizes a mix of African and South American music and culture. The second poster was a job I did for super producer, Los DaMytro. The instructions were pretty simple, he gave me the artist’s pictures, name and song title and said “make it fly”. I was happy with the outcome and more importantly both clients were very happy, and have sent me more work since then.

4ize “Illuminated Animal”

I love my job! Especially when I get to work with artist that I’m actually a  fan of…

Illuminated Animals Cover art

This is a Cd cover design I created for my friend 4ize, for his “Illuminated Animal” project. Loved working on this cuz it didn’t feel like work. We came up with the concept without even trying. Then the photographer ( Mike Moore of Studio8 ) captured exactly what I had envisioned. I think we got the picture we needed like by the forth shot. Above all that 4ize is the truth, a real down to earth dude with allot of outterspace ideas.
